FY18 Three Circle Initial Application Due Date Extended
Friday, November 17, 2017Three Circle (FFA & SAE) Grant Initial Application - Due Date Extension
Due to the popularity of the new grant and numerous inquiries from districts, the due date for the initial application for the new Three Circle (FFA & SAE) Grant has been extended to Wednesday, November 22, 2017 to give districts more time to complete their decision-making with regard to participation and completion of the initial application. All eligible districts who are interested in participating in the grant must have their initial application submitted no later than this date so allocations can be determined and the budget application can be released in a timely manner. Application for this grant is a two step process with the first step being completion of the initial application via application link (due next week) and step two being the budget application on IWAS (not yet available). A separate message will be sent once the IWAS budget application is available in late November/early December including its due date. Additional grant information can be found under the Three Circle Grant pull-down menu. The recorded webinar, worksheet, other resources as well as the initial application can be found at preceding link. The worksheet includes examples districts can use to help determine the district's required share of the cost and other grant requirements. Your FCAE Program Advisor can assist as necessary. Should a district have any special or extenuating circumstances with regard to its application submission or for program questions regarding this grant, please contact Harley Hepner hhepner@isbe.net at 217-524-4832 to discuss options.
